If you verbally explained the JAVA concept well enough, you were required to whiteboard your own example code that demonstrated your explanations. I was required to whiteboard after each explanation. Then, I was grilled more in-depth on the code I wrote (Ex. What would happen if you wrote it like [insert minor change to my code], what would that change if anything?).
