Intrepid Solutions contacted me on the basis of an on-line resume I had posted. They pretty much decided to make me a contingent offer based on the resume, phone discussions, and e-mails. On my own I went to them for a brief face-to-face which confirmed that we both thought highly of each other. Unfortunately, they did not win the contract in question so were unable to offer me the position.

Without tipping their hand, they asked me my salary requirements, but the resulting discussion was very adult and positive (surprisingly so). They agreed a package which, while not extravagant, seemed to me to be reasonably fair given market conditions.
