First, an initial screening over the phone for qualifications: you are in school, you are able to work at the office in person at least 3 days a week, etc. Then there is a typical ‘tell us about yourself’ interview. The last round of the process you are given a dataset to perform an analysis / presentation on. They definitely value personality and communication ability just as much (if not more) than technical proficiency.
