Two managers went to our school and interviewed students with interesting resumes. Interview was about an hour. The interviewers wrote a lot in their custom made answer sheet when you are answering their questions. They said that they didn't use our own reference but went with our program head for a reference. They also said that the interviewers have no bearing at all on the selection and the HR will decide who their right candidate is based on the answer/response sheet that the interviewers filled up during the interview.
