With the right training, support and encouragement, weโve seen people rebuild their confidence, regain financial independence, and discover meaningful careers in care. ๐๐ช One of those individuals is inspirational double amputee Mark Allen, who is thriving as a carer at Cera after 20 years unemployed. In this BBC interview, Mark shares his incredible journey back into work and the impact itโs had on his life. โMy whole life seems to be getting better.โ Weโre proud to play a part in building a stronger, more inclusive workforce โ and helping deliver the care our communities need. ๐
As we leave the month of March behind, we're reflecting on International Women's Day, Women's History Month and of course, Mother's Day. Balancing a career and family can be challenging for women in particular. Here's our Chief Care Officer Charlotte Donald and her daughter Chiara discussing the impact of being a working mum.
