We’re committed to building the workforce of the future both within our company and in our community. Last month, we welcomed our 39th cohort of Year Up interns. For 19 years, we’ve partnered with Year Up to host young adults between the ages of 18-29, providing local students with hands-on experience in our industry, while helping us create a pipeline of skilled and diverse talent. Year Up's mission is to close the opportunity divide by ensuring that young adults gain the skills, experiences, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through careers and higher education. Graduates of the program can be hired into open roles in retail banking, commercial operations, and other departments. Since the start of our partnership, 328 interns have completed a six-month internship, with 173 of these students hired for permanent roles at Citizens. Learn more about the partnerships we leverage to help our colleagues and communities thrive.
