      🗓️ REGISTRATION IS OPEN - 23-26 March 2026 We cordially invite you to join us for MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s 7th Recent Advances in Artificial Intelligence for National Security (RAAINS) Workshop. RAAINS is a premier event in applied AI that draws together scientists and practitioners from across academia, industry, and government. The 2026 workshop will be hosted in a hybrid format and feature exciting topics across four days: - Monday 23 March: AI Courses / Autonomy Expo (concurrent sessions) - Tuesday 24 March: Generative AI and Agentic Systems, followed by an Evening Poster Session and Reception - Wednesday 25 March: Robotics and Autonomy - Thursday 26 March: Trustworthy and Assured AI / Industry Track (concurrent sessions) Registration is open to US Citizens and Permanent Residents.       Congratulations to our Laboratory staff members who were recognized at this year’s American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) New England Honors awards ceremony. The ceremony honored those who made significant contributions to the field of aeronautics and astronautics. Award recipients included: 🏆 Bob Shin received the 2025 AIAA New England STEM Award. 🏆 Tyler Boehm and Rhea Senthil Kumar were recognized for significant contributions to the Beaver Works Summer Institute CubeSat Challenge, 2024–2025. 🏆 Luis Alvarez received the 2025 AIAA New England Young Professional Award. 🏆 Osa Osaretin received recognition for service as treasurer of the AIAA New England section.

      Dr. Melissa Choi, Director of MIT Lincoln Laboratory, paid a special visit to the Beaver Works Summer Institute at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's main campus. During this visit, Dr. Choi gave an engaging seminar about Lincoln Laboratory and the exciting research and technology breakthroughs that make transformative solutions possible. The Beaver Works Summer Institute (BWSI) is an innovative STEM program for high school students, hosted by MIT Lincoln Laboratory and MIT School of Engineering. BWSI offers hands-on, project-based courses that challenge students to solve real-world problems in areas like robotics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and more.
