Supply Chain team members recently finished participation in the third year of our LevelUP! program. Team members are paired with advisors to strengthen their job and leadership skills over three months. Everyone's stories of growth at the celebration event in November were inspiring! They shared how participation helped them develop confidence to lead, and how they grew to see the big picture of everyone's purpose as a team. An AutoCAD design from one participant is already in production! Each person's hard work and expertise helps us achieve our collective goals, and in return we are committed to nurturing their continuous learning, development and growth. hashtag#continuouslearning hashtag#culture

Meet Kristen Seal, CFS, one of our food scientists at OPTAVIA. Her work? Crafting Fuelings that don’t just taste good — they’re designed to support fat burn and overall health. From balancing protein, carbs & fiber to testing shelf life, flavor and prep methods, every detail matters. Because at the end of the day, we’re not just making food. We’re making nutrition that change lives.
Gina Piscopo, CFS, Senior Scientist of Research and Development at $MED, was recently awarded the 2025 Institute of Food Technology (IFT) Section Outstanding Service Award. This award honors section leaders like Gina who go above and beyond in supporting their local IFT Section and embody the true spirit of volunteerism.
How are OPTAVIA Fuelings developed? Spoiler: It’s not “add protein and call it a day.” From concept → research → countless rounds of testing → production, every Fueling takes months (sometimes years) to perfect. Because you’re not just getting food — you’re getting science inside every bite. Watch the video and learn more about how our team works!
