LifeNet Health joined OMC on campus today for a special flag raising in honor of Donate Life Month! OMC works alongside LifeNet Health to facilitate tissue donations to patients in need across Washington. In 2025, donations from OMC helped enhance or save the lives of over 300 people! Thank you to everyone who makes this program possible, and most of all to those whose donated tissue has impacted a life.

Olympic Medical Center has been buzzing with BEE Award honorees lately, and we’re thrilled to announce Tess Buck, patient access specialist, as the latest deserving recipient. The overwhelming consensus from coworkers is that Buck would brush off the notion of having done anything special in her day-to-day work to warrant recognition, but from their point of view, highlighting Buck’s compassionate work ethic is long overdue. They heard the nomination stories that earned the nurses their recognition, all of which highlighted their dedication to compassionate, personal care in the face of health struggles. We're thrilled to share that Terri McGowan, Sequim Primary Care clinic supervisor, was recently honored with the Reserve Patriot Award from the Employee Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). Terri was nominated for the award by her staff member, Navy reservist and medical assistant Jacob Doran, and it celebrates Terri's support of our miliary employees.
