Our marine surveyors play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of ferries. Aboard these vessels, they conduct detailed inspections of everything from onboard systems to hull integrity, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. With thousands of passengers relying on ferries every day, the work of surveyors is essential in preventing risks and ensuring smooth, secure operations. Their expertise helps keep the maritime industry running safely, allowing ferry operators to focus on providing a seamless travel experience. #GrowWithRINA
Congratulations to the Oarsome Army Educators, who have passed the finish line and completed the "World’s Toughest Row" - about 3,000 miles from La Gomera to Antigua - in 44 days, 6 hours and 38 minutes! We have secured a contract with The World Bank Group to promote green development in Indonesia's port infrastructures and maritime transport. Funded by the Korean Green Growth Trust Fund, the project aims to support the Indonesian Ministry of Transport in balancing economic growth with ecological sustainability within ports and the maritime industry. Together with the project team of the World Bank Biju Ninan Oommen and Hafida Fahmiasari, we will support them in assessing the gaps, challenges and opportunities in greening the sector. Our team will also produce a comprehensive review of the rules, policies, and institutions related to GHG emissions to eventually provide a roadmap for the country’s green energy transition
