We were thrilled to host two pie smash fundraisers to support the American Lung Association's “SMASH the Stats” fundraising campaign. Thank you to President and CEO, Jim Prister, along with Vice President of Operations, Matthew Lloyd, for getting pied by colleagues that each raised $250 or more. Thank you to everyone that supported the RML Climb. May was the second event of the year. This event is hosted by the American Lung Association to help raise awareness for lung disease. The climb raises money to find a cure for the disease. Together we were able to raise $6,717.01. A special shout out to our team members that participated!

The DAISY Award is a prestigious recognition program celebrating nurses through heartfelt nominations from patients, families, and co-workers. Managed by DAISY partners, this award serves as a heartfelt thank you to nurses for their exceptional care and kindness. On May 15th, 2024, RML Specialty Hospital proudly celebrated its first-ever DAISY Award recipient, Registered Nurse Sandra Green. Sandy, who has been a dedicated member of the RML team for nearly two years, is deeply appreciated by her co-workers every day.
