🤝 For the past two years, in celebration of International Women's Day, we have invited the founders of the NGOs we supported during Impact Week to a round table discussion, bringing the organizations and our employees closer together. In 2024, Vera Cordeiro, from the Instituto Dara, told impactful stories about the families they support, the vast majority of whom are represented by women. 💜 And this year, the conversation was with Selma Pacheco, founder of Núcleo Especial de Atenção à Criança (NEAC). She spoke about the female leadership in the community, who have helped her since the beginning of the project, and how these women motivate her every day, even with the challenges. 🌎 Female strength inspires us! At Viatris, we have many inspiring women who contribute to the mission of empowering people around the world to live healthier lives at all stages of life.

Leo’s story is one of dedication, resilience, and a commitment to advancing our mission. His passion for helping colleagues and supporting patients while being part of Viatris for the last 50 years continues to inspire us. 🎉 Over the years, he transitioned to sales and product management, eventually rising to manage supply chains through one of the most difficult periods in recent history—the COVID-19 pandemic. His leadership was vital to ensuring that Viatris' medicines remained available, despite disruptions in supply and logistics. His commitment was never just about the task at hand but about the greater purpose of delivering life-saving treatments to patients worldwide. As a second motivation, through his own example, Leo advocates for inclusion of older generations in the workplace, making his voice a powerful force for change within the company. “I am equally driven to help my experienced colleagues find meaningful scope in their work and feel included and valued within our company,” he says. “For all generations, a sense of inclusion and appreciation is essential.” Learn more about Leo’s career journey!
