We are deeply saddened by the tragic shooting in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Our hearts are with the victims, their loved ones, and the entire community as they grieve and begin to heal. At the request of local hospitals, Vitalant provided approximately 60 blood products to help treat those injured and remains ready to offer additional support. It’s the blood donated by caring individuals in the days and weeks before this tragedy that made this immediate response possible.
