We're excited to announce the launch of Walser Automotive Group's fourth employee resource group, Veterans at Walser (VAW), a dedicated community tailored to the needs and experiences of Veterans. VAW serves as a community within our company, bringing together Veterans from all branches of the military and their allies to support each other professionally and personally. From navigating the transition to civilian life to accessing resources and finding camaraderie, VAW aims to create a supportive network where members can thrive. Furthermore, we collaborate with external organizations and Veteran support groups to provide access to resources such as job training, mentorship programs, and mental health support, demonstrating our commitment to Veterans' long-term success and well-being within the company. Check out highlights from VAW's launch party!
Picture this: 52 extra days off each year – and it's not vacation time! We're addressing work-life balance with an innovative change for our Minnesota sales staff: the introduction of a 4-day work week! With this new schedule, our sales force can enjoy more consecutive days off while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Implemented in January 2024, the four-day rotating schedule prioritizes employee well-being while also enhancing the customer experience. By extending working hours and reducing split shifts, we can focus on delivering top-notch service without sacrificing personal time. We believe in listening to our employees, and this change is in response to feedback for a more flexible and predictable schedule. This move is in line with our commitment to exceptional benefits and creating a better employee experience. The elimination of split shift timing also ensures a smoother and more consistent customer experience, reinforcing our reputation for excellence in customer service. Learn more:
