It’s important to understand that the company grew very quickly and went through several major storms in a short period of time—for example, relocating a large number of employees from Russia after the war began. Because of this, some processes suddenly became very corporate, while others are still being established. As a result, at times the company feels somewhat chaotic and immature.
Employees, especially long-timers, feel this dissonance quite strongly. But honestly, compared to other corporations, this company shares much more information with employees and involves them much more actively in decision-making.
The product team is excellent—very talented people. Management is deeply involved; the SVP even sketched out the prototype of one of the company’s most successful products while on vacation.
The engineering teams are incredibly engaged and highly skilled.
HR is in a transitional phase toward becoming more corporate, but still deeply invested in people’s lives—seeing themselves not only as company representatives, but also as employee advocates.
Overall, there’s a bit of chaos in the company, but within that chaos, a lot of great things get done—because people are allowed to experiment, they’re trusted, and most genuinely love the company.
The company is also making a genuine effort to stay current with AI—not just for show but in practice.
There are a few really nice benefits, like hybrid work (no one really cares where you work from) and Trust PTO (unlimited vacation).
