Pluspunten

Capable people Enormous knowledge base travel if you are up for it

Minpunten

Experienced hires not integrated non Accenture experience not regarded if you are not a classic Accenture Delivery Methods android the average Senior Manager (10yrs+) with the firm receives about 11+ brainwash sessions in Accenture’s education centre in St Charles (Illinois) Performance rating by career counsellors and SE's based on sympathy rarely on real life performance Accenture maintains a culture of high performers who can do the job. Those high performers often hear about the technology or methodology just before their project assignments RFP knowledge based on similar jobs done previously with little innovation You work like a horse and often unnecessary due to bad planning and a SE who told you to do so Accenture tries to overcomplicate deals, that is a general theme Not listening to client (Example client asks for CRM solution, Accenture responds with whole ERP solution to sell more SAP) Accenture is not flexible with client requirements to services contract Operating cost base is massive Absolutely no culture

Pluspunten

Hands down the best company I've worked for. It's fast-paced, but Accenture genuinely empowers its people rather than micromanaging them. The benefits are a real priority — they invest in your physical and mental health, offer a generous amount of PTO, and there are legitimate opportunities for promotion if you put in the work. If you're someone who gets bored easily in a role, this is one of the few places where you can stay with the same company and reinvent your career multiple times. The investment in training and upskilling is heavy and ongoing. And the culture around authenticity is real, not just a poster in the break room — especially in the neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ communities, you're encouraged to bring your whole self to work and be comfortable being you.

Minpunten

This is not the place for you if you don't like change. Pivoting is constant, and keeping up with the latest industry trends can be uncomfortable at times. The sheer size of the organization means it can be hard to find the information you need, and learning the internal infrastructure takes a while. You'll also run into some negativity from folks during tough stretches — but honestly, if you're coming from a turbulent work history elsewhere, you'll recognize that this is much better than most.

Pluspunten

There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

Minpunten

This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
