Pluspunten
Most of the people are great and work very hard but are overshadowed by the ones that don't need a job or paycheck, show up late, or not at all. The perks for the company as well as the New Berlin warehouse are very good. The 10 hours work shifts are nice and having 3 days off a week makes it easier to have a life. The overtime is there if you want it but most people don't seem to want to work hard or want the extra money The office manager is awesome! She does her best to boost morale where she can and seems to hold the place together. She's always there with a greeting, answers, direction, and a friendly smile. She was out for a couple months and the place fell apart with nothing getting done like free shelf, lunches, meetings, etc. When she did come back, she took charge and communicates with everyone in a reasonable manner instead of demanding. It's nice having someone in the building that does the job and then some, but it really should be management that steps up like that. Free product is there if you want it and use it. Minpunten
Corporate has no idea what happens in the warehouses, they ask for suggestions on how to improve things but always shoot them down. When people come to the warehouse they are more interested in seeing how clean the facility is instead of spending time talking to people about concerns. Don't dismiss people that want to talk through their worth, sick/vacation time, or possibility of promotions. Give guidance how on they can improve and show you want to see them succeed instead of dismissing them. The leaders in the building are doing the best they can with what they are given but often left hanging on what the next step is...it's a very rushed environment with most demands coming down on the leadership team. Not enough pay for the work you do, it's not competitive for the area and there is no motivation to work hard or learn new things if you aren't going to get a bump in pay. There isn't even a 30 60 90 day pay increase for your initial start period.
