BENEFITS! Hilton just moved to 30 employee rooms and 70 Friends and Family for 2019. The RMCC is amazing with work-life balance. A lot of times in Hospitality, holiday's don't exist. The RMCC strongly encourages you to use all of your 200 hours of vacation time. Around Thanksgiving and Christmas they do extended work from home days (typically 1 week for Thanksgiving, 2 for Christmas and New Years). There are plenty of opportunities to advance and move into different departments. The training programs are great, and there are many of them.

Minpunten

It is a large company, so it can be difficult to effect change. Pay is improving, but typically they hire Revenue Specialists or Managers without experience so you start at a lower pay.

Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
