Working with engaged colleagues (all the way up to senior management), who had a real desire to delight their customers.

Minpunten

Slightly lower than average salary for the area; some management did not respect a work-life balance. I understand this has increased since Blackstone acquired the company.

Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
