Corporate has made our jobs in Customer Service very difficult lately by abruptly changing part of our Most Valued Customer (MVC) program, such as discontinuing offering free shipping to our online customers. We are receiving hundreds and hundreds of calls from irate longtime customers threatening to jump ship to JCPenney's, Macy's, and even Wal-mart and Target, because of our lack of appreciation to our longtime and consistent shoppers. To make matters worse, Corporate is not giving us any information to pass along to our customers such as a "hang in there, we'll be giving you free shipping again soon" or anything tangible that we can promise. Instead our hands are tied and we are losing people left and right. According to the corporate grapevine, there are even more changes planned that will undoubtedly disappoint our online shoppers as Corporate wants to increase their in-store presence and doesn't seem concerned at all about keeping our longtime and devoted customers who Kohls has built much of their success on. This makes it hard to work there. I feel bad for these people and want to be able to continue to offer them the level of service that Kohls has always stood for.

Little to no training been working here for almost a year now there’s still something I don’t know every day. What was most difficult for me was being at registers as I was trained in two days by shadowing someone. There are so many situations and problems that will come up every day and you will learn something new! They never taught me about Kohl’s cash, how to read receipts, reprint or edit receipts. They schedule so little so when you do learn something there’s no chance of rehearsal because you come in three weeks later working at a different department.
