When I started with Lockheed it was a much better run Engineering related company. It is a great place to work if you are well liked by management and have the necessary education levels they prefer. The benefits are among the industry's best for the old timers (PENSION) but not as appealing for the newer employees.
Minpunten
In some instances it can be an Good Ole Boys club where the ones the kiss butt make out at raise time and job assignments. I am sure it is about the same in most Government supported (welfare) defense contractors.
