- Poor employee retention capabilities for managers (e.g.: one time increase limit is 10% in Hungary), - Salaries are not matching job market, competitors give higher salary. - You initially have to negotiate a good salary for yourself, otherwise you'll be stuck with it, and you'll only get yearly inflation compensation. - You have to switch to a higher job grade position to (somewhat meaningfully) increase your base salary.
