Minpunten

Deceptive during hiring process. Territory, duties and compensation were misrepresented during the hiring process. I have been in the mortgage industry for 6 years and yet it was mandatory to spend 20-30 hours a week in meetings and conferences for the first 6 months. This makes obtaining and securing new deals very difficult/time consuming. Their meetings are not productive and are very cult-like. High pressure from management for very little support and compensation. Interest rates and specials are not competitive. You will have to submit an excessive amount of paperwork compared to other financial institutes. The help centre and HR have poor training so you will have to learn as you go and really advocate for yourself/clients. Their application software is glitchy and very difficult to use - reach out to colleagues for support.

Excellent collaboration between infrastructure and incident management teams; vendor coordination is efficient. Competitive compensation and benefits package, including solid health coverage and retirement matching.

Workload spikes during major incidents can challenge work-life balance, especially when on-call.

Pluspunten

Een stabiele balans tussen werk en privé. De bedrijfscultuur is fantastisch, het is heel prettig om met complexe managementstructuren en managers samen te werken. Ze staan open voor groei en ontwikkeling, ook in de omgang met klanten.

Minpunten

Er is weinig ruimte voor groei, tenzij je met die verwachting binnenkomt. Je kunt heel gemakkelijk in deze rol vast komen te zitten, omdat je salaris langzaam stijgt terwijl je functietitel grotendeels hetzelfde blijft. Promoties en salarisverhogingen voor medewerkers worden zelden toegekend en vereisen veel overredingskracht om ze te krijgen.
