Pluspunten

Standard official working hours. Medical, dental (for Seniors and above only). Really nice clientele. Not boring.

Minpunten

Long hours with no pay but hours in lieu. Consistently short of staff so claiming hours and going on leave is complicated. Foreign employees on work passes are often bullied into submission eg. . “You need to help run another Centre until we find a replacement” - if you can manage, they don’t bother getting a replacement. If you contest, they tell you you have no choice. Do it or you leave. Pay raise is almost non-existent but they keeep adding to your responsibilities. Bonus is pathetic - $120 for the last quarter!! They constantly change the bonus structure to ensure you never meet your targets. Targets are ridiculous, based on systems that are out of your control eg. high NPS customer ratings but the billing system is SO flawed and it frustrates the clients that it’s almost impossible to get a positive review. Sales people are often authorized by management to approve dodgy deals and / or manipulate clients into signing agreements that bind them without living up to their “promises”. Promotions given are usually out of desperation, it’s cheaper to hire Community Associates then Community Managers. And once you’re a Community Manager, there are no other higher role unless you want to consider Sales.

Minpunten

My experience at this company was uncomfortable from the start. I saw, and was even asked to do, things that felt completely unethical. Employees are pushed to upsell constantly, and we were told to lie to clients about pricing, inflate costs, and refuse itemized receipts. If a client insisted, I was instructed to digitally edit receipts to match the fake prices being charged. That alone was enough for me to know I couldn’t stay. I never did any of it, because to me it borders on fraud. Clients get angry or threaten legal action once they realize they were misled into contracts full of hidden fees. It’s incredibly shady, and it feels like the company only cares about squeezing as much money as possible out of people, while leaving Community Associates to deal with the fallout. The job itself was also misrepresented. It wasn’t advertised as a sales role, yet you’re expected to push extra services nonstop, even when they don’t actually work. And when something breaks, good luck getting IT to respond. The online training is long, repetitive, and barely helpful, leaving you overwhelmed instead of prepared. Management also watches employees constantly through cameras, which is creepy and stressful. I’m not sure how they have time to monitor and critique employees when they’re supposed to be doing their own jobs. This company is cheap!! The workload is ridiculous for the pay. You’re expected to juggle multiple roles while being severely underpaid. Even basic supplies are hard to get because the company refuses to spend money on essentials. This is not an honest place to work. I left because I have morals, and I’d strongly warn anyone considering this company to think twice before applying.
