'Terrorist' managers not tolerated for long. Strong emphasis on 'happy employees' unlike most American companies. Influenced by European attitudes to work-life balance.
Minpunten
Somewhat bureaucratic and consensus-driven, all decisions need to be approved by the top, essentially paralyzing empowered decision making. Very hard to get something done. Complex matrix structures give no ownership for anything. Highly conservative and very slow to react to market changes and emerging trends. Lots of internal competition. Too many people doing overlapping/ same things create conflicts. Very little autonomy.
