Company stability and security. International bank visibility. Reasonable compensation for work performed. ESOP, Pension plan and flexible benefits program. Scotiabank is very supportive of many charity organizations.
Minpunten
Vacation entitlement is inadequate especially for newer employees. Micro-management, excessive adminstrative duties and large client base are counter-productive to performance. Far too much time is spent attending branch meetings, processing redundant paperwork and addressing client concerns unrelated to my position of Financial Advisor. As a result goals are unrealistic and unattainable in ‘scheduled’ work hours.
