I have received feedback from the leadership that was based on gossip or gut feeling, rather than concrete evidence. Apparently, my performance did not meet their expectations, but nobody communicated what was wrong. This was likely because I wasn’t engaging in favoritism, which seems necessary to be considered a high performer. Recruiters struggle to attract candidates due to the hybrid work model and are frequently blamed for this issue. Many colleagues are experiencing burnout, and the leadership is unprepared and immature. Despite claiming to welcome feedback, they take everything personally and do not support or defend their team when confronted by stakeholders. Leadership does not know how to retain talent, and I have experienced multiple instances of mansplaining. They claim to be a people-positive organization but do not trust their employees. Additionally, Brazilians are disclaimed due to pure xenophobia. Managers act very cynical and only care about their own performance. The eNPS results show how bad the situation is and they choose to ignore it.
