Minpunten
The management (especially the upper middle management, has become very intolerant and impatient (some would say arrogant). Many who have been promoted to this level are not strategic operators and tend towards micromanagement (This could be due to the average age of front line employees). This is in-congruent with the CEO's leadership messaging. HR has immature processes for conflict resolution and will not look to mediate between employee and management, instead they tend to act as management's arm to neutralize threats to the "culture". The management track is not easily attainable and employee development is not baked into the DNA of the company yet, instead it is extremely ad-hoc and depends on the strength and political clout of your direct management. Many tenured sales leaders are kept in-spite of many low performance affecting the morale and focus of the employees. Many of the parties and events are not +1 meaning that you cannot bring a spouse or partner to include them in the celebration. This was a practice years ago with picnics and outings but not since going public. Those outside of the "Seattle cartel" will find it difficult to advance and especially so if they are found to be cross with any of the cartel or those being groomed by them.
