-Neglected by management (I like being independent and alone but so much so I wonder if I matter or if I'm missing the party) -Taken for granted if you do a good job (attention is paid more to day to day problems) -The expensive training you really want and need just isn't going to happen -Some dull implements in the coworker drawer also
