Cellissa joined CCA Global Partners just over two years ago as the Director of CCA For Social Good, our division supporting high quality care in over 40,000 family and center-based childcare programs, serving 1.75 million children across the United States on their platform ECE Shared Resources. "We know a strong community depends on the essential services childcare businesses provide to young children and their families." says Cellissa, "I have the wonderful privilege of supporting our partners across 37 states as they work to help ECE businesses thrive." Cellissa brings over 35 years of experience in the early childhood field to her role at CCA for Social Good. To her, this isn't just work it's her passion, and in her own words, "Fuels her soul." We are grateful to have passionate employees like Cellissa committed to helping families and small businesses thrive.
Say hello to this month’s employee spotlight, HR Specialist, Tanya Fox! Tanya has been with CCA Global Partners for two years, and in this role, she assists with the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires, as well as benefit enrollment and payroll processing, helping to ensure employees have the support and benefits they need to take care of themselves and their families, so they can focus on the needs of our members. Tanya loves being a part of CCA’s new onboarding initiative, Onboarding The CCA Way, a useful tool for managers and new employees alike. Tanya says, “Hiring a new employee and starting a new job can be very exciting and also a little daunting...I love helping to ease that transition and provide a warm welcome to our new CCA team members!” We are grateful to have such passionate and caring people like Tanya working to better the lives of both our employees and members. This is something Tanya finds equally thrilling about working with her HR team, “Each one has a unique strength they bring to the table, making us better together. Victoria joined our Lionsbridge division 6 months ago and has been an integral part of the team as a Payment Coordinator, focusing on innovation and efficiency. She was drawn to CCA Global Partners by our mission to helping people. In this role, she helps our Lionsbridge members succeed, "by providing tools to simplify processes and nurture growth while maintaining independence." Say hello to this month’s leadership spotlight, Jesse Horwath! Jesse has been with us at CCA Global Partners for 5 years, starting as a Business Intelligence Analyst before being promoted to our Analytics & Insights Manager. In this role, he dives deep into data and market research to help develop plans and strategies for our members to stay competitive and thrive in local markets. Jesse was originally drawn to CCA by our mission to help family businesses succeed and the people he has met here have made it all worthwhile. Having worked at big corporations before he has found that CCA is different and stands out as a company that wants to improve lives. His biggest piece of advice he would give to new hires coming into CCA is, “focus on integrity and consistency and own up to mistakes when they occur. It's all a natural part of the growth process and a bit of humbleness and humility can go a very long way.” We are very grateful for Jesse and the incredible work he does for our company and members. For this month’s employee spotlight say hello to Kennis Barker! Kennis started at CCA almost two and a half years ago as a Digital Content Coordinator for the marketing team and, after a year and a half, transitioned to the role of Cooperative Strategy Specialist. In this capacity, she collaborates closely with the co-founder and chairman on special projects and enjoys attending meetings with international cooperatives and participating in international conferences. She finds the connections she's made and the opportunity to observe how cooperatives operate on a global scale to be inspiring and motivating. Kennis was initially attracted to CCA by its warm and welcoming environment, noting, "From my first interview to my first day in the office and even now, everyone is very friendly and engaging. It makes it feel less like a job and more like a family." Fun fact: two of Kennis's siblings have also worked at CCA! Her favorite part of working at CCA is, "getting to be a part of the Halloween Committee and socials for the Manchester office," which she sees as a cornerstone of CCA's sense of community. For this month’s leadership spotlight please say hello to Greg Brooks! Greg has been an integral part of CCA Global Partners for over four years. He was initially drawn to CCA to help build the National Installation Solution division, where he serves as the Senior Director of Operations. In this role Greg often measures homes himself, showing his hands-on approach and dedication to member success, which he feels is the best part of his job. Believe it or not, Greg has known he’s wanted to work in flooring since high school! Wow! Outside of work, you will find Greg spending quality time with his family, something he loves to do as much as he can. We truly appreciate Greg's unwavering commitment and enthusiasm here at CCA and look forward to many more years with him!
Congratulations to Dawn Skaggs on 20 incredible years here at CCA Global Partners! Dawn has held many positions within CCA, but since 2012 she has worked as a senior membership operations specialist for our Cooperative Group. Her hard work, motivation, and positivity are echoed by her boss, Director of Member Operations, Julie Carter, who says, "She not only accomplishes tasks with efficiency, but she also anticipates needs. This saves time and frustration for all on the back end. She often steps away from the immediate task to ask, 'What’s really happening here, and how can we help or improve it?'". Dawn works closely with members and collaborates with many divisions across CCA. Her dedication to accomplishing their goals is commendable, and she often goes above and beyond to help them. Outside of work, Dawn is a loving mother to her two children, Alex and Tessa. She also works at her local gymnastics gym, where she continues her love of the sport as a meet scorer for local competitions. Dawn's willingness to help everyone in and out of work is admirable, and we are fortunate to have her. Congratulations, Dawn, on your 20 years at CCA!
Get to know Ryan McGeehan, one of the many faces behind our ProSource team! Ryan joined CCA Global Partners nearly three years ago this July. Today, he works hard supporting the ProSource team as a Senior Search & Data Analyst. Ryan's role includes constantly learning and adapting to stay ahead of ever-changing algorithms and best practices – and you'd never guess that Ryan spends time responding to Google reviews! When asked about the most important thing he's learned in the last three years, Ryan says, "How to break out of my comfort zone and take on new projects head on." What originally drew Ryan to CCA was the clear vision for his role and empowerment to make it his own. He encourages recent new hires to "Ask questions!" He loves the positive culture at CCA, saying "Coming into the office is consistently enjoyable and it seems people always have a smile on their face." His motto is "The journey is the reward." In his free time, Ryan enjoys cooking, watching soccer, and making music. Ryan is one of the rockstars here at ProSource, always bringing positivity and a willingness to take on new challenges and help his coworkers. 🤟
Get to know Sarah King, one of the many rockstars behind our M1 Marketing team! 💥 Nearly three years ago, Sarah made a big life & career change to content marketing after working in higher education with student affairs at various universities. Today, she works as a Digital Content Specialist, supporting our retail groups with website & digital content. Sarah's role includes constantly adapting to best practices to suit Google's ever-changing search engine algorithms and with the need to stay adaptable & flexible, she clarifies the importance of her counterparts, saying, "I love my team. We are close-knit and so supportive of each other at every step. I wouldn't trade them for anything!" She shares an inspiring quote that she holds close in the workplace, “Don’t be intimidated by what you don’t know. That can be your greatest strength and ensure that you do things differently from everyone else.” – Sara Blakely. At home, Sarah is an avid reader who typically reads 100+ books each year, along with crocheting the cutest things through her side gig, Sari King Creations!
