Caribou Coffee opens new Georgia locations, part of Southeastern expansion Caribou Coffee®, one of the nation’s leading operators of premium coffeehouses, announced this week a major milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion, with the planned addition of up to eight new coffeehouses in Georgia. The new locations, which mark renewed investment in the state, are being added to meet both consumer demand for Caribou’s premium handcrafted beverages, made with real ingredients, and delicious food offerings, as well as in response to interest from developers, partners, and local communities. “We grow our footprint of coffeehouses and drive-thrus with two smart, strategic considerations. First, for the benefit to the local community and then the business opportunity for our brand,” said Matthew Walls, Chief Development Officer, Caribou Coffee. “Georgia offers a great deal of both. Our nine current locations across Georgia continue to outperform, and guests love the Caribou brand. These new locations will start opening by spring with the potential of more to come.”

Discover the impact Amy’s Blend has on women in the coffee industry Amy’s Blend is all about brewing good and doing good Each year, a very special coffee appears exclusively on the shelves of your local Caribou Coffee coffeehouse. It’s called Amy’s Blend, a light and dark roast coffee sourced from Guatemala, Costa Rica, Kenya, and Ethiopia, and was inspired by the legacy of our original roastmaster, Amy Erickson. After Amy lost her battle with breast cancer in 1995, we launched Amy’s Blend in her honor and have continued our commitment to the charitable initiative, donating proceeds of Amy’s Blend sales to non-profit organizations that reflect her legacy. Caribou Coffee is proud to partner again with the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA). For every bag of Amy’s Blend purchased, Caribou Coffee will donate $1 to the International Women’s Coffee Alliance* because we align with IWCA’s belief statement: when women are empowered, communities thrive. To close out Women’s History Month, from March 29-30 we will also donate 100% of proceeds from Amy’s Blend light and dark roast to IWCA, helping to support and uplift women in coffee. Proceeds from Amy’s Blend 2025 will be donated to IWCA with intentional contributions made to IWCA chapters in the countries where Amy’s Blend is sourced, empowering them to develop and execute programs that will achieve meaningful change for women throughout the coffee industry.
2024 is fully brewed: Let’s raise a cup to the gifts it gave us! As we settle into 2025, it’s a great time to pause and reflect on the whirlwind that was 2024. From the moment we first rang in the new year to the very last sips of Ho Ho Mint Mocha® in our coffeehouses across the country, it’s was a BOUming, busy year…. We achieved, built and celebrated things in 2024 that brands don’t just get the chance to do every year, if very often—and the list is long. We opened new locations in several markets, welcomed new partners and team members, made exciting changes, brought in new technology and continued to make great strides in our commitment to our people, the environment and the communities where we make a difference. 2024 laid the groundwork for what’s ahead—a year where we’ll lean into our strengths, fine-tune our craft, and aim even higher. As we look to the future, let’s take a moment to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of the past year and get inspired for what’s to come.
At Caribou Coffee, we have always celebrated strong women leaders like our original roastmaster, Amy Erickson, who was a trailblazer in the coffee industry and an icon of Caribou Coffee’s culture and commitment to quality. We honor Amy’s legacy by upholding the rigorous standards she put in place for each batch of coffee we roast and through meaningful partnerships with every sale of our Amy’s Blend coffee beans. This year, Amy’s story has inspired us to highlight the impact of women throughout the coffee supply chain, from farmers and exporters to our field team members. In 2024, we are supporting the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA) to strengthen our shared commitment to encourage, recognize and uplift women in coffee, by donating 10% of Amy’s Blend proceeds to IWCA.* Like Amy, countless women impact our business and make their mark on the world of coffee. Today, we continue to celebrate all those amazing women leaders by highlighting the stories of two of our General Managers in Minnesota, Anna and Paige. Their journeys from Team Member to General Manager are not just career progressions but are narratives of dedication, growth, and leadership. They were eager to share their stories to inspire others:
