Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Project Engineer is responsible for designing and testing systems for measuring equipment as key components in the customer's production or treatment process. He will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from engineering and procurement to testing and commissioning.

This position is part of Hach Integrated Systems team located in Nazareth, Belgium and will be hybrid

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Designing the overall system according to the requirements of the customer
• Investigating the correct components, connections and suppliers to source the right parts
• Preparing the piping and instrumentation diagrams and mechanical drawings
• Communication with sales, construction team and the customer throughout the project
• Perform internal Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
• Occasionally carry out start-up, service activities, or training at customer sites worldwide

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor or Master in Engineering or a related technical field
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar engineering role (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
• Knowledge of ATEX, IECEx, and NEC regulations is an asset
• Good command of technical English (written and spoken)
