Pluspunten
Absolutely none for Business teams.
Minpunten
Your experience at SAP will depend entirely on the department that you have joined. If you have joined SAP Labs, you can even retire from there. Most folks in SAP Labs have been there for 20+ years. It's very safe for techies, although SAP has unable to develop in house even 1 futuristic product over 35 years. Shocking! If you have joined SAP in the Business side (Sales/Marketing/Customer Facing roles), then there's a good chance you won't last for 20 months unless: 1. You have a god father in the company 2. You have joined as a management trainee If you join as a lateral recruit in the sales & marketing side, from other organizations, without knowing anyone powerful inside, then God help you. All the plum roles have already been grabbed internally by the old timers. The newly created experimental roles (whose life depends on whether the business did well or not), & the junior most roles are what is published for externals. So be very cautious before taking up a SAP offer. If you think you will rise purely on merit, you would be extremely disappointed. Finally, 90% + people in the Business teams don't earn much incentives. So you will rarely be earning your annual CTC.
