Reflecting on International Women's Day in March, PropertyGuru proudly recognised the remarkable women who uplift, inspire, and shape our communities every day. Embracing this year’s IWD theme, #GiveToGain, we rolled out initiatives across our markets, showcasing the transformative power of giving, and reinforcing our steadfast commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐞: We spotlighted women entrepreneurs, creators, and organisations such as Girl Guides Singapore and the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO), driving positive change and innovation. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝: We kicked off with women leaders sharing inspiring stories, followed by a lively Leadership & Empowerment session with candid questions about women's experiences. 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚: We launched Storylight, an employee spotlight series designed to celebrate shared journeys and collective growth, highlighting the achievements and aspirations of our women Gurus. 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦: The ‘Be More Be You’ contest encouraged Gurus to nominate the strengths they see in the women around them. We also hosted a workshop focused on women’s health and well-being, underscoring our ongoing commitment to inclusion, empowerment, and holistic support in the workplace. 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚: Our Gurus explored balance and wellness in a session led by Lead Women, shifting away from the traditional work-life divide towards a holistic integration of body, heart, mind, and spirit.
At PropertyGuru, we believe that creating meaningful impact starts with showing up where it matters most. We are proud to see our Vietnam Gurus embodying our Employee Value Proposition through our Gurus For Good initiative. Earlier this month, over 30 Gurus from PropertyGuru Vietnam travelled to Điện Biên to inaugurate Háng Sông Trên Kindergarten, bringing new learning opportunities to more than 70 Hmong children in one of Vietnam’s most remote regions after their previous classrooms were lost due to landslides. From cooking meals together to painting classrooms and connecting with the local community, our Gurus brought our Be Gurus For Good philosophy to life by contributing in thoughtful, practical ways. When our people are encouraged to step beyond their day-to-day roles, they build broader perspective, stronger capabilities and a deeper sense of purpose in the work they do. This is the kind of culture we’re proud to build at PropertyGuru, one where purpose, impact, and people come together to create lasting change. #GurusForGood #BeMoreBeAGuru #WeAreGurus #CreateWhatsNext #LifeAtPropertyGuru
We’re excited to share highlights from our Head of People & Culture, Ruth Kerr, who recently joined Criticaleye Asia in a thought-provoking discussion about “What Defines a World-class CPO”. Ruth’s insights underline the crucial role that leaders play in shaping the future of our organisation emphasising that Chief People Officers (CPOs) need business acumen and expertise in workforce planning and organisation design to become true strategic partners to the business. At PropertyGuru, we see these capabilities as fundamental to identifying the talent that will drive our growth and to designing the right organisational structure to support our ambitions. With technology and AI rapidly changing the landscape of work, understanding which skills will matter for the future has never been more important. #CriticaleyeAsia #WeAreGurus #CreateWhatsNext
At PropertyGuru, we’re committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where women and every Guru feel a sense of belonging and is empowered to thrive. In line with this year’s International Women’s Day theme hashtag#GivetoGain, we’re deepening that commitment through a series of women empowerment learning and development programmes to ensure every Guru has equal access to growth, support, and career progression. This month, we’re introducing: • A Women Learning Series for all Gurus to build awareness and practical strategies for creating an environment where women and all Gurus can thrive. • A curated sponsorship and coaching programme for our women Gurus in leadership roles to remove structural and invisible barriers that women experience and ensure they have equal access to opportunities for progression. • Inclusion and Allyship Training for our leadership teams to equip them with the mindset and skills to actively champion allyship culture. We’re doing this because we believe that when leaders know how to recognise bias, build fair processes, and champion inclusion, teams perform better, trust increases, and our organisation becomes stronger. Here’s to giving intentionally, so we can gain collectively! #InternationalWomensDay #WeAreGurus #CreateWhatsNext
